5년 만에 온 전학생이었다. 교북 나눔을 받기 위해 도서관 쪽으로 간 연태서는 자율학습 하던 모은아와 마주쳤다. 연태서는 교복을 빠르게 챙기고 다시 교무실로 갔고, 선생님은 전과목 1등급인 연태서의 모평 성적표를 보고는 놀랐다. </p> <p dmcf-ptype="general">다음날 연태서는 "작년 추석 때 나 본 거냐"고 물었고, 모은아는 "해마다 봤다. 중2 때 이후로 안 왔잖아"라고 말했다. 연태서는 "날 아니까 잘해준 거였구나"라고 오해했고, 모은아는 "알든 모르든 잘해주고 싶으니까 잘해준 거지"라고 투덜거렸다. </p> <p 연태서는 모은아 맞은 편으로 자리를 옮겼다. 연태서는 초조해하는 모은아에게 "나 봐. 효과 있다며"라고 말했지만, 모은아는 연태서에게 방해가 될까 봐 집으로 갔다. 종일 모은아만 걱정하던 연태서는 다음날 모은아의 발걸음 소리에 자신도 모르게 눈물이 났다. </p> <p
