가임력 보존 및 암 수술을 거친 상태라 자궁 경부를 묶어주는 수술까지 병행했기 때문이다. 당시 담당 의사는 "자궁이 커지면서 묶어놓은 자리가 만삭까지 버티기 힘들 수 있다. 임신 6~7개월까지만 버텨주면 성공적"이라며 주의를 당부했다. 이에 초아는 7개월까지만이라도 아이를 지킬 수 있다는 사실에 "교수님 너무 기쁘다"라며 안도의 미소를 지었다.</p>
