 [TV리포트=남금주 기자] 트로트 가수 김소유가 3년째 아버지를 간호하고 있다고 밝혔다. 
 28일 방송된 MBN '특종세상'에서는 가수 김소유가 근황을 공개했다. 
 이날 '미스트롯'에 출연해 '사당동 떡집 딸'로 불린 김소유의 근황이 공개됐다. 김소유는 엄마 순댓굿집에서 일하고 있었다. 김소유는 "'떡집 딸'이라고 했는데, 이젠 '순댓국집 딸'이 됐다"라며 3년 전 업종을 변경한 엄마의 순댓국집에서 스케줄이 없는 날마다 일하고 있다고. 
 6년 전 송가인의 라이벌로 활약했다는 김소유는 당시 인기에 관해 "실시간 검색어 1위 하고, 대중교통 탈 때 민낯이어도 알아봐 주셨다. 살면서 '이렇게 행복해도 되나' 싶었다"라고 했다.

 엄마의 심부름을 마친 김소유가 향한 곳은 아버지가 있는 요양 병원. 김소유는 "아빠가 뇌전증으로 쓰러지셨다. 오른쪽에 마비가 왔다"라고 밝혔다. 손가락조차 움직이기 힘든 상태였다. 김소유는 "고모한테 아빠가 쓰러졌다고 연락이 왔다. 병원에 갔는데, 아빠가 머리부터 발끝까지 기계로 연결되어 있었다. 그 모습을 아직도 잊지 못할 것 같다"라고 밝혔다. 뇌 손상으로 인해 6개월간 혼수상태였다고. 
 김소유는 "마지막이라고 생각했는데, 희망을 못 놓겠더라. 아빠를 무조건 살려야겠더라. 오래 걸리더라도 휠체어라도 태우자. 아빠가 엄청 힘들어하는데도 일부러 더 했다. 매일 찾아가서 노래 부르고, 주물러드렸다"라고 전했다. 
 그러나 엄마는 아빠한테 자주 가는 딸이 못마땅했다. 엄마는 "간병인이 다 있는데 왜 그렇게 자주 가. 네 아빠 얘기만 들으면 혈압이 오른다. 피가 거꾸로 솟아. 평생 고생해서 아파트 장만했는데, 여자한테 홀랑 넘어가서 아파트 다 날려버리고 무슨 짓거리냐. (아파트가) 보일 때마다 속이 뒤집어진다"라고 토로했다.

 김소유는 "아빠가 제일 친한 친구한테 사기를 많이 당했다. 사업한다고 엄마가 번 돈을 갖다주고, 친구한테 투자했는데 안 되고. 엄마는 뼈가 으스러질 정도로 일해서 딸 셋을 키웠는데, (아빠가) 그 돈을 다 날렸다"라고 밝혔다. 
 15년 전 사업 실패로 거액을 잃은 후 이혼한 부모님. 김소유는 두 동생과 달리 아버지 편에 섰지만, 아빠가 딸들 몰래 재혼하면서 부녀 사이가 멀어졌다고. 김소유는 "아빠가 (새어머니와) 혼인신고 하고 3개월쯤 후에 쓰러졌다. 병원에 갔는데, 그 아줌마가 와 있었다. 쓰러진 동시에 사라졌다. 그분이 도박을 했는데 아빠가 그에 대한 보증을 한 거다. 아파트 한 채 있던 것도 경매로 날아갔다. 아빠한테 원망밖에 없다"라고 털어놓았다. 
 김소유는 "병원비 생각에 어느 순간 잠도 안 오고, 아침이 되는 게 너무 싫었다. 아빠가 저질러 놓은 일은 해결해야 하니까"라며 고된 간병에 점점 지쳐서 우울증까지 왔다고 고백했다.
