 [TV리포트=남금주 기자] 상철이 옥순에게 달라진 최종 선택의 의미를 전했다. 
 20일 방송된 SBS플러스·ENA '나는 솔로'에서는 27기가 슈퍼 데이트를 하는 모습이 그려졌다. 
 이날 정숙은 광수, 영철과 슈퍼 데이트 후 두 사람에게 설렘이 없다고 밝혔다. 그러나 송해나는 "이미 알고 있었으면서"라고 정곡을 찔렀다. 이를 모르는 영철은 "결혼식을 하면 포항에서 하겠네", "이렇게 도망가 버릴까?"라고 말했다. 
 옥순과 상철도 슈퍼 데이트에 나섰다. 옥순은 상철에게 "마음의 정리를 했냐. 정숙님한테는 말했냐"라고 물었고, 상철은 마음의 정리는 했고 정숙에겐 전하지 않았다고 밝혔다. 옥순은 정숙이 왜 슈퍼데이트권을 쓰지 않았는지 궁금해했고, 상철은 자신이 눈길도 안 주고 떨어져 있어서 느꼈을 거라고 말했다.

 옥순은 "전 반대다. 그 사람의 시간을 지체할 수 없다고 생각했다. 나한테 아무 말도 없는데도 불러내서 (거절한다고) 얘기했다"라고 밝혔다. 앞서 옥순은 영수, 영호를 불러내 확실하게 정리했다. 이를 본 이이경은 "이러면 옥순 입장에선 상철에게 불만이 있지"라고 이해하기도. 
 상철은 최종 선택 후 관계를 어떻게 생각하는지 물었고, 옥순은 "전 결혼을 시작할 사람과의 1일"이라며 "걸리는 부분이 해소가 안 된채 선택하는 게 맞나 싶다"라고 똑부러지게 말했다. 옥순은 상철이 고민하던 모습을 언급하며 "내가 여기서 나쁜 모습을 보인 것도 아닌데 고민하는 거면 밖에선 좀 더 쉽게 고민이 생길 수 있다고 생각했다"라고 털어놓았다. 
 상철은 "호감을 정확하게 표현하는 것 자체가 최종 선택이라 생각했다. 그래서 썸 시작이라고 생각했다. 여기선 정확히 서로가 어떤 모습인지 모르지 않냐"라며 옥순과는 최종 선택을 달리 생각한다고 밝혔다. 인터뷰에서 옥순은 "설레는 흥미가 많이 떨어졌다. 내가 이렇게 계속 선택할 만한 사람이었나"라고 했다.

 데이트 후 상철은 남자들에게 옥순과 최종 선택 의미가 엇갈렸다고 말했다. 그러자 영식은 "여자가 그렇게 나오면 고마운 거 아니냐. 남자인 걸 까먹은 것 같다. 여자여?"라고 밝혔다. 이를 들은 상철은 "혼자 고민을 많이 하는 사람이 아닌데, '고민 괴물'이 되니까 정신이 이상해진 것 같다"라며 "맞네. 내가 왜 그랬지?"라고 뒤늦게 후회했다. 
 옥순을 발견한 영식은 상철에게 말해주었고, 상철은 옥순에게 "내가 '고민 괴물'이 됐다. 생각이 잘못됐다고 느꼈다. 썸 시작이 아니고 1일이 맞는 것 같아"라며 "바보짓을 했다. 거의 끝에 와서 정신을 차렸다"라고 고백했다. 옥순은 "고민 악귀 수준"이라고 솔직히 말해 웃음을 안겼다.
