 그룹 i-dle (아이들)이 일본 여름 축제 무대를 뜨겁게 달궜다.
 아이들(미연, 민니, 소연, 우기, 슈화)은 지난 8월 16일, 17일 일본 도쿄 조조마린 스타디움 마쿠하리 멧세와 오사카 엑스포 70 기념 공원에서 열린 '서머소닉 2025'(SUMMER SONIC 2025) 무대에 올랐다. 
 아이들은 'Super Lady'에 이어 'LATATA'로 웅장하게 오프닝을 장식했다. 이후 멤버들은 "첫 서머소닉 무대를 정말 기대했다. 아이들이 공연에 함께할 수 있어서 정말 행복하다. 이번에는 여름에 딱 어울리는 곡으로 가보겠다"면서 낮에 점차 높아지는 기온처럼 팬들의 열띤 반응을 불러일으켰다.
 이어 아이들은 여름 축제를 더욱 흥겹게 만드는 아이들표 서머송인 '덤디덤디 (DUMDi DUMDi)'와 '클락션 (Klaxon)'을 비롯해 'Good Thing', 'Wife', 'MY BAG', 'TOMBOY', '퀸카 (Queencard)' 등 히트곡 퍼레이드를 통해 콘서트를 방불케 하는 진풍경을 연출했다.
 특히 아이들은 본격적인 일본 활동을 예고해 기대를 높였다. 미연은 마지막 무대를 앞두고 "한 가지 좋은 소식이 있다. 아이들이 10월에 일본 앨범을 발매한다"고 운을 뗐고, 슈화는 "일본 투어도 함께 준비 중이다. 오늘 무대를 보니까 궁금하지 않나. 여러분 우리 꼭 다시 만나자"면서 분위기를 이끌었다.
 아이들은 첫 '서머소닉' 무대의 엔딩 곡으로 지난해 최고의 역주행 곡으로 꼽히는 '나는 아픈 건 딱 질색이니까'의 일본어 버전을 준비했다. 일본어 버전은 리브랜딩 후 처음 발매되는 일본 EP에 수록될 곡으로, 아이들은 정식 발매 전에 '서머소닉 2025'에서 일본어 버전 무대를 깜짝 공개해 이목을 모았다.
 한편, 아이들은 오는 10월 3일 일본 EP 'i-dle'을 발매한 후 같은 달 4일 사이타마의 사이타마 슈퍼 아레나를 시작으로 18, 19일 양일간 고베의 글리온 아레나 고베에서 일본 투어를 개최한다. 또한 도쿄와 오사카에서 팬사인회를 비롯한 프로모션을 펼치며 현지 팬들과 만날 예정이다.
