          <p contents-hash="8103bafc2670ce762cb5aa200d4361bceac4a746589ce3714a2cd48465953f2f" dmcf-pid="3hS7byLKWk" dmcf-ptype="general">데뷔 전 무용수이자 모델이었던 타잔은 "원래 철인 3종을 했었는데 운동으로는 세계 1등을 못 하겠더라. 한계를 느끼고 운동을 그만둔 뒤 사촌 누나의 권유로 현대 무용을 시작했다"고 밝혔다. </p>
          <p contents-hash="8bb6427e13daebf9905f620b029f31cf6c99a60fbcbe1f1e8124912475e47585" dmcf-pid="0lvzKWo9Sc" dmcf-ptype="general">무용으로 각종 콩쿠르에서 입상하고 장학금까지 받을 정도로 재능을 보인 타잔은 "내가 원하는 게 이게 맞나란 생각을 했다. 우연한 기회로 모델 활동을 했고 브랜드 파티를 갔다가 당시 더블랙레이블 소속이었던 브라이언 체이스를 알게 돼 테디를 만나 데뷔할 수 있었다"고 덧붙였다. </p>

           그러면서 그는 무용에 대한 미련이 없는지 묻자 "저는 무용을 그만뒀다기보단 저를 표현하는 한 가지 요소가 더 생겨 좋은 거다. 랩만 한다기보다는 다른 방향으로 확장된 것"이라고 말했다.
