 [TV리포트=이혜미 기자] ‘독수리 5형제’ 엄지원과 안재욱이 쌍둥이 부모가 되며 인생 2막을 맞았다.
 3일 KBS 2TV ‘독수리 5형제를 부탁해!’ 최종회에선 서로의 날개가 된 동석(안재욱 분)과 광숙(엄지원 분)의 행복한 모습이 그려졌다.
 이날 동석은 근무 중 광숙의 진통이 시작됐다는 소식을 듣고 서둘러 병원으로 향한 바.
 광숙이 분만실로 들어갔다는 말에 대놓고 속상함을 표한 동석은 옥분(유인영 분)의 진통 시간이 6시간 이상이었다는 흥수(김동완 분)의 고백에 한탄했다. 범수(윤박 분) 역시 “하나가 아니라 둘이라 걱정이네”라고 우려했다.
 다행히 분만실로 들어간 광숙은 큰 진통 없이 쌍둥이를 출산했고, 이에 동석도 시동생들도 안도했다. “마광숙 만세!”를 외치며 기뻐하는 동석에 시동생들은 축하를 건넸다.

 이제 ‘육아지옥’이 펼쳐질 차례. 이날 동석과 광숙은 쌍둥이 육아에 연신 피로를 호소하면서도 서로에게 의지하며 두 아이를 양육했다.
 쌍둥이의 백일잔치 날에는 주실(박준금 분)이 자동(김준배 분)과 크루즈 여행에 나서는 것으로 광숙을 경악케 했다. 이에 광숙은 “외손자들 백일잔치 패스하고 여행가는 게 어디 있어?”라고 따져 물었으나 주실은 “쟤들은 앞날이 창창해서 잔치를 골백번도 더 하겠지만 우리는 앞으로 살날이 많지 않아. 시간되고 주머니 사정 좋을 때 어디든 가야 한다고”라고 일축했다.
 돌잔치에는 꼭 참석하겠다는 자동의 약속에 광숙은 말도 안 된다고 반발했으나 옥분을 비롯한 가족들은 멋지다며 주실과 자동의 편을 들었다.

 동석은 쌍둥이들의 백일잔치에 참석한 가족들에게 “이 나이에 쌍둥이라니. 하루하루가 조심스럽고 아내와 뱃속 아기들이 무사히 이 시기를 넘길 수 있을지 솔직히 두려운 마음도 많았습니다. 그런데 이렇게 두 아이가 건강하게 백일을 맞이해주고 가족들이 함께 웃으며 축하할 수 있어서 정말 뭉클하고 감사합니다”라며 눈물의 인사를 건넸다.
 광숙에겐 “당신이 믿어주고 버텨줘서 오늘을 맞이할 수 있게 됐어요. 사랑합니다, 광숙 씨”라고 말했다. 인생의 2막을 맞은 광숙과 가족들의 단란한 모습이 극 말미를 수놓으며 ‘독수리 5형제를 부탁해!’가 꽉 닫힌 해피엔딩을 맞았다.
 한편 ‘독수리 5형제를 부탁해!’ 후속으론 정일우 정인선 윤현민 주연의 ‘화려한 날들’이 방송된다.
