           만화가 겸 방송인 허영만이 43세 영탁에게 결혼에 대한 현실적인 조언을 던졌다.

           이날 식당에 들어선 영탁은 어린 여자아이를 발견하자 흐뭇한 미소를 지으며 "요즘 주변에 동생들 친구들이 다 장가가고 애 키우고 하니까"라고 말했다. 이를 들은 허영만은 영탁의 나이를 물었고, 영탁이 "43세"라고 답하자 허영만은 "조금 위험하네"라며 돌직구를 던져 웃음을 자아냈다.

           한편 영탁은 10년째 뇌경색으로 편찮은 아버지에 대한 이야기도 전했다. 그는 "늘 장난감을 만들어 주셔서 놀아줬다. 아버지가 낚시를 가면 따라가서 구경도 하고, 아버지랑 많이 다녔던 것 같다. 아버지는 유하고 어머니는 칼 같을 때가 있었다"고 회상했다.
