 [TV리포트=이혜미 기자] 국민MC 유재석이 ‘놀뭐’를 통해 ‘서울가요제’를 개최한다.
 26일 MBC ‘놀면 뭐하니?’에선 ‘80s MBC 서울가요제’ 블라인드 오디션이 펼쳐졌다.
 1980년대를 콘셉트로 한 이날 방송에서 유재석은 “내가 기획안을 내서 통과가 된 건데 요즘 방송사에서 가요제가 붐 아닌가. 대학가요제, 강변가요제 등 다양하다. 80년대 노래 중에 명곡들이 정말 많아서 나도 여기 편승을 해 가요제를 열려고 한다”며 ‘서울가요제’ 개최 소식을 전했다.
 이어 “우리는 나이, 학력, 지역 이런 거 다 상관없다. 다만, 자작곡이 아닌 80년대 히트곡으로만 참가할 수 있다. 방송이 뜨는 시점이 2025년이라 녹화를 미리 뜨는 것”이라며 너스레를 떨었다.
 아울러 “노래를 잘하는 것도 중요하지만 80년대 감성이 맞아야 한다. 그 시절엔 서정적인 가사들이 많아서 2025년에 느끼기 힘든 감성이 있다. 노래 실력은 아쉽지만 80년대 느낌이 난다? 이런 분들도 캐스팅 될 수 있다. 80년대 맛이 나야 한다”며 심사 기준도 전했다.

 이날 ‘서울가요제’ 블라인드 오디션이 펼쳐진 가운데 첫 참가자인 굴렁쇠 소년은 들국화의 ‘그것만이 내 세상’을 노래하는 것으로 하하와 유재석을 사로잡았다. “일단 실루엣이 잘 생겨서 시청률이 도움이 될 것 같다” “고음이 필요한 노래들이 있기 때문에 좋다. 비주얼 면에서도 저런 친구들이 필요하다”라는 호평이 그 방증.
 이어 포니는 이정석의 ‘사랑하기에’를 노래하며 감성을 뽐냈으나 하하로부터 “너무 깔끔해서 80년대와 섞일 수 있나 싶다”란 혹평을 들으며 탈락했다. 포니는 ‘놀뭐’ 멤버 주우재였다.

 뉴욕제과는 나미의 ‘빙글빙글’과 이문세의 ‘소녀’를 연달아 부른 끝에 합격점을 받았다. 하하와 유재석은 “하수빈이 그려진다. 우리 세대 때 정말 큰 사랑을 받은 분” “강수지 느낌도 있다. ‘보랏빛향기’ 같은 곡이 잘 어울릴 것 같다”
 이어 공작상가가 조정현의 ‘그 아픔까지 사랑한 거야’를 노래한 가운데 유재석과 하하는 실루엣이 뜬 순간 “저 형이 여길 왜 나왔나? 그림자만 봐도 알겠다” “턱이 없고 이마가 크다”며 폭소했다. 첫 소절에 정체가 탄로 난 공작상가는 바로 박명수였다.
