           이날 허영만은 "그때 벌어둔 돈 없냐. 행사 같은 거 하면 돈 많이 받지 않았냐"라며 전성기 시절을 언급했다. 이에 심현섭은 "그 당시 30대 초반에 행사 한 번에 천만 원, 이렇게 받았다"며 2000년도 압구정 아파트 한 채 가격이 2억이던 시절에 하루에 스케줄을 17개까지 소화했다고 밝혀 모두를 놀라게 했다.

           허영만이 "대부분 연예인들이 딴짓하다가 다 까먹더라"고 하자, 심현섭은 아내 정영림을 힐끔 보며 "주식 한 거 없다. 저는 고스톱도 못 친다. 라스베이거스에 들어갔다가 현기증 때문에 1분 만에 나왔다. 누굴 빌려준 적도 없다. 어디 간 거지?"라며 돈의 행방에 대해 스스로도 궁금해하는 모습을 보여 웃음을 자아냈다.
