 [TV리포트=남금주 기자] 이동국이 2002년 월드컵 얘기에 당황했다. 
 20일 방송된 JTBC '뭉쳐야 찬다4'에서는 안정환의 FC환타지스타와 이동국의 라이온하츠FC가 장외전을 펼쳤다. 
 이날 안정환의 FC환타지스타와 이동국의 라이온하츠FC는 2라운드 1위 결정전을 앞두고 모였다. 무패행진을 달리는 이동국은 "연습할 때 선수들이 뭉치는 힘이 경기장에서 나오고 있다. 송하빈 선수는 다이빙을 뛸 일이 없으니까 살이 쪘다. (상대 팀의) 날카로운 슈팅이 아직까진 없었다"라고 밝혔다. 안정환은 "제 마음속 1위는 우리 선수들이다"라고 응수했다. 
 난장 토론 첫 번째 주재는 이동국, 안정환 중 더 뛰어난 선수, 감독 고르기. 라이온하츠 김진짜는 "K리그 골키퍼분들이 선수 때 가장 막기 어려운 슈팅을 한 선수가 이동국 감독이었다고 하더라"라고 기선 제압에 나섰다. 반면 이대훈은 "한국에서 활동한 골키퍼분들의 얘기 아니냐. 안정환 감독은 해외 골키퍼에게 여쭤봤어야 한다"라며 해외에서 경기를 뛴 걸 강조했다.

 마선호는 "2002년 월드컵 당시 온 국민을 하나로 만들었다. 이탈리아전에서 골든골의 주인공이다. 무슨 말이 필요하냐"라고 보탰다. 또한 환타지스타에서는 "2002년, 2006년 연속 월드컵을 뛰셨는데, 이동국 감독님은"이라고 아픈 곳을 찔렀고, 김용만은 "아픈 기억인데"라고 했다. 라이온하츠 대변인들은 "부상 때문에 못 가신 걸", "상처받으신 분이다. 상처가 아물지 않았는데 왜 그러냐"라고 발끈했고, 환타지스타에선 "그건 사과드리겠다"라고 바로 사과했다. 
 김용만은 "자료가 미처 준비되지 않았다"라며 본인 입으로 자랑해달라고 부탁했고, 이동국은 "2002년, 2006년 월드컵을 뛰지 못했지만, 전 (최연소로) 1998년 월드컵을 뛰었다. 너무 어려서 기억을 못할 수도 있다"라고 밝혔다. 이동국은 "A매치, K리그 다 따져서 800경기 넘게 뛰었고, 골로 따지면 1990년대부터 2020년대까지 40년대를 거쳐서 골 넣은 선수가 몇 없는데 그중 한 명"이라며 본인의 기록을 나열했다.
 감독 자질에 대해 묻자 남우현은 이동국에 대해 "매번 열 명 이상 연습을 나가는데, 감독님이 직접 오셔서 땡볕에서 같이 뛰어준다. 끝나면 회식을 한다"라고 자랑했다. 그러나 이를 들은 환타지스타 선수들은 눈빛을 주고받았고, 류은규는 "강현석을 통해 들은 얘기가 있다. 회식할 때 윗사람이 있으면 불편하지 않냐. 그래서 불편했다더라. 저희 감독님은 계좌로 쏴주신다"라고 말해 분위기를 뒤집었다. 강현석은 "은규 형이 주장되더니 거짓말이 늘었다. 회식 자리 불편하다고 한 적 없다"라고 해명했다.
