 17일 오후 유튜브 채널 ‘어떠신지’에 ‘최근에 어떻게 지내고 있나면..’이라는 제목의 영상이 업로드됐다. 
 이날 코요태가 행사 무대에 오르는 모습이 공개됐다. 앞서 신지가 예비 신랑인 가수 문원을 멤버 김종민, 빽가에게 소개하는 영상을 올린 후 결혼 반대 여론에 휩싸인 상황이었다.

 신지는 “그 영상 이후 첫 업로드”라며 댓글을 모두 확인했다고 밝혔다. 신지가 “최대한 좋게 받아들이고 신중하게 생각하려고 노력 중”이라고 하자, 김종민도 “어디로 가야 맞는 건지 잘 생각해 봐”라며 조언했다. 
 신지는 “당장 올해 결혼한다고 알고 계시는 분들이 많더라. 아직 멀었으니까 천천히 지켜봐 달라”라고 전했다. 또한, 그는 무대에 오르기 전 긴장돼 공황장애 약을 먹었다며 악플에 힘들어하는 모습도 드러냈다.

 김종민은 “누가 악플을 썼는지 모르니까 다 그런 것처럼 보인다”라며 신지의 무대 공포증을 이해했다. 신지는 팬들의 응원이 힘이 되었다며 “우려와 걱정, 관심 하나도 빼놓지 않고 다 확인했다. 조금 더 책임감 있는 모습, 본업 충실히 하는 모습, 점차 나아지는 모습 보여드리겠다. 시간을 길게 봐주고 계속 지켜봐 달라”라며 진심을 전했다. 
 한편, 신지는 최근 7세 연하 문원과 결혼을 발표했다. 문원은 신지의 유튜브 채널에 출연해 이혼 전력과 딸이 있음을 고백했다. 이후 문원은 부적절한 여러 언행으로 대중의 질타를 받으며 각종 사생활 의혹까지 불거졌고, 신지는 직접 자신의 SNS를 통해 “의혹은 모두 사실이 아니라는 것을 확인했다”라고 밝힌 바 있다.
