장가현, 중2 아들 등교→시험 일정도 무관심…"방임 경계선" 지적 ('일타맘')

 [TV리포트=한수지 기자] 배우 장가현이 아들 교육에 전혀 관심 없는 모습으로 놀라움을 자아냈다.
 17일 방송된 tvN STORY·더라이프 '일타맘'에서는 일타맘들이 자녀들의 공부에 흥미를 갖게 하는 법을 공개했다.
 이날 게스트로는 23세 딸과 15살 아들의 엄마 배우 장가현이 출연했다. 장가현은 "둘째 중2 아들이 고민 되서 나왔다. (아들) 예준이가 공부 하는 거에 비해 성적은 나오는 데 공부에 영 관심이 없어 걱정이다"라고 털어놓았다. 
 중학교 2학년인 아들 조예준은 "공부하기 싫다"라며 "시험치기 전에도 공부를 안 한다"라고 당당하게 밝혔다.
 공부를 안 한다는 예준의 반전 성적표가 공개됐다. 장성규는 "공부 안 하고 이 정도면 굉장히 잘 하는 거다"라고 감탄했다. 실제 예준은 대부분의 과목에서 B, C를 받았고, 수학은 평균 이상의 점수를 받았다. 
 장가현은 "공부를 전혀 하지 않는다"라며 "어릴 때는 제가 하라고 하면 학원도 다니고 숙제도 잘 했는데, 중학교에 들어가니까 자아가 강해진 거다. 공부를 하는 이유에 대한 논리가 타당하지 않으면 안 하더라"라고 토로했다.
 일상 영상에서 예준이는 남다른 피지컬을 자랑했고, 집안 곳곳에는 운동 기구가 가득했다. 예준이는 "꿈이 보디빌더다"라고 밝혔다. 
 15세인 예준이의 현재 키는 무려 183cm라고. 예준이는 스스로 일어나 등교 준비를 마쳤다. 그 사이 엄마 장가현은 잠을 자고 있었다. 이를 지켜보던 일타맘 유정임은 "아침이 엄마와 아이가 교감할 수 있는 중요한 시간이다. 아이가 엄마의 관심을 먹는 시간이다. 아까운 골든타임을 다 버리고 있는 것"이라고 지적했다.

 예준이는 책가방이 보이지 않자, 가방 없이 학교에 갔다. 알고 보니 그는 집 앞 공원 벤치에 가방을 두고 왔던 것. 예준은 "저번주 금요일에 친구랑 놀다가 두고 온 것 같다"라고 덤덤하게 고백했다. 
 장가현은 아들에 대해 "가끔 지각을 한다. 선생님한테 전화 와서 예준이가 안 왔다고 할 때도 있다. 그럴 때 제가 깜짝 놀라 깨우기도 한다"라고 밝혔다. 
 일타맘 양소영은 "지각을 하고 안 하고는 기본 성실성의 시작이고, 부모의 관심이 없다고 볼 수 있다. 지각이 계속되는 경우는 학교에서 심각하게 볼 수 있다"라고 조언했다. 
 뒤늦게 일어난 장가현은 아들의 수학 학원 원장님에게 상담전화를 받았다. 원장은 "예준이가 수학을 머리로 푼다"라며 "(암산 말고) 식 세우는 과정이 필요하다. 다른 건 괜찮은데 숙제 습관이 안 잡혀 있다"라고 말했다. 이에 장가현은 민망해하며 "안 해오면 혼내주세요"라고 말했다.
 이를 보던 백지영은 "저랑 조금 비슷하다. 저도 '많이 혼내주세요'라고 해봤다. 그런 말을 하는 거는 내가 편하자고 하는 말이다. 내가 혼내고 교육해야 하는 부분인데 시간이 없으니까 선생님이라도 해 달라는 바람이다. 사실 선생님이 할 부분은 아닌 거다"라고 꼬집었다.
 더구나 장가현은 아들의 기말고사 기간마저 알지 못해 놀라움을 자아냈다. 장가현은 첫째 때부터 전혀 교육에 관심이 없었다고 털어놓았다. 그는 "첫째는 공부 머리가 아예 없었다"라며 "첫째가 고2 때 꿈을 찾아서 미술 전공을 해서 대학을 갔다"라고 말했다. 
 이에 양소영은 "아이를 기다려주는 건 좋다. 그런데 기말 일정을 모르는 건 방임의 경계선에 있는 게 아닌가 싶다"라고 일침을 날렸다.
