 [TV리포트=이혜미 기자] 알리야를 앞세운 에이지 스쿼드가 미국 래퍼 사위티의 선택을 받으며 세미파이널 1차전의 승자로 우뚝 섰다.
 8일 Mnet '월드 오브 스트릿 우먼 파이터'에선 파이널 진출자를 가리는 세미파이널 결과가 공개됐다.
 이날 한국의 범접, 호주의 에이지 스쿼드, 미국의 모티브, 일본의 오사카 오죠 갱이 한데 모여 '세미파이널' 무대를 선보인 가운데 알리야가 "분명 사위티가 우리 무대에 공감하고 좋아해줄 거라 생각한다"라고 확신했다면 리정은 "승리 확률은 200%"라며 강한 자신감을 보였다.
 케이디와 미나미 역시 "우리가 너무 잘해서 나도 사위티를 잘 표현할 수 있다고 생각한다" "우리 크루는 후렴 구간의 표현이 다른 크루와 달랐다. 임팩트 면에선 우리"라고 강하게 어필했다.
 글로벌 아티스트 퍼포먼스 미션의 심사를 맡은 사위티는 "이 크루는 이번 미션에서 내 신곡 퍼포먼스를 하게 될 것"이라며 에이지 스쿼드를 호명했다.
 사위티는 "여러분은 최고다. 여러분이 제대로 보여주셨다. 난 너무 감명 받았다. 나도 연습실에 가서 더 노력하고 싶어졌다. 여러분들에게 자극을 받았다. 모든 게 완벽했다. 너무 자연스럽고 자랑스럽다. 앞으로의 행보가 더 기대된다"며 에이지 스쿼드의 무대를 극찬했다.
 이에 따라 100점의 가산점을 획득하게 된 에이지 스쿼드는 "TOP으로 가고 있다" "모두 에이지 스쿼드를 믿어주고 파이널로 가게 도와줄 거라 믿는다"며 소감을 나타냈다.
 한편 글로벌 아티스트 퍼포먼스 미션에 이은 댄스필름 미션은 글로벌 대중 평가로 승패가 갈릴 예정으로 최종 탈락자는 다음 주를 기약했다.
